By now you should have created an account and a user page. The following text describes the functions of the TopMenu for registered, logged in users.
Your username and personal page
Clicking on your user name links to your personal page. If your user name appears in red, that means your personal page is blank. However, you can add content by clicking on the link. A blue user name indicates that your personal page already has content. Again, clicking on your name will take you to your personal page.
This is a place for other members of the Wikipiniana community to leave you messages. When a member of the community edits this page, you will be alerted by an orange banner at the top of every page. You can set your preferences so that you will be e-mailed when a message is left on your talk page.
This link will take you to your preferences page. You can edit these preferences at any time.
This link takes you to a list of pages that are important to you. You can add a page to your watchlist by hitting the "watch" tab at the top of any given page or select the "watch this page" box when you save an edit. In your preferences under the editing tab, you can elect to watch all pages you create or edit. The watchlist is blank until you add pages to it.
This link takes you to a chronological list of all your edits.
