UP Jargon refers to words, terminologies, aliases, and acronyms pertaining to or describing the people, places, events, traditions, and ideas related to the University of the Philippines (UP). These were coined due to such diverse reasons as easy recall of names, terms of endearment, making fun of others, and for simply following the Filipino habit of associating a particular name – however remotely related – to a person, place, or event. Understandably, these UP jargon are unique to people from the university and, over time, have become part of the vocabulary of generations of UP students, professors, employees, and alumni.

Arranged in alphabetical order, the following are some of the famous words, terminologies, aliases, and acronyms that are now part of the trademark of the Philippines' premier university.
