Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF)

Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) is a non-profit corporation founded to perpetuate the memory of the late President Ramon Magsaysay by recognizing and holding up as models to those individuals and organizations in Asia exemplifying his greatness in spirit in service to the people.

History

In May 1957, seven prominent Filipinos were named the founding board of trustees of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation.

Programs and Partners

In coordination with the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, the Foundation regularly holds lecture series of Ramon Magsaysay Awardees at the President Ramon Magsaysay School of Public Governance of the same university. Partnerships with victims of calamities, veterans, peasants, elderly people, fisherfolks, women, youth and urban poor sectors are also made to fully uphold its mission reaching out to the Filipino people.
