Cross Reg is short for Cross Register or Cross Registration, a process when University of the Philippines (UP) students enrol in other UP constituent university. However, cross registration does not happen often as it is subject to the consent of advisers of students from the mother UP units or the availability of subjects in other UP units that can be credited to the students' respective courses. Students usually cross register to other UP units during the summer period, since this is the most practical time to do it as they only have one to two subjects to take.
