The development and spread of religion has been accounted mostly to education. Religious beliefs has been conveyed formally through educational institutions that teaches the doctrines, customs and practices, rites, etc. to a wider but specific audiences -- the students.

Religious Educational Institutions are composed of an academe who specialized in fundamental religious tenets (e.g. seminary, monastery, convent) and religious established institutions (under various religious orders such as colleges and universities).
